Job Title: Production Operative – Laminating Area
Location: Pennywell Industrial Estate, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, SR4 9EN
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Day Shift
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our laminating department. This role involves the laminating of baths, ensuring all products are manufactured to the correct quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency while delivering high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out laminating of baths to required specifications
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and company guidelines
- Operate laminating equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare materials and moulds prior to laminating
- Inspect finished products and identify any defects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laminating or manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work with hands and follow processes accurately
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
