Project Engineer (English & Polish Speaking)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke machinery and automated systems, delivering turnkey engineering projects from design handover through to installation, commissioning and final handover. Working closely with our in-house design team, customers and suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards. This role does not involve machine design but does require strong engineering knowledge, practical site experience and the ability to support projects across the UK and Europe.
Fluency in both English and Polish is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver turnkey engineering projects from design handover through to installation, commissioning and final handover.
- Coordinate and support machinery installation and commissioning activities across customer sites.
- Work closely with the in-house design team to understand project requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving technical issues to minimise delays.
- Ensure machinery is installed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and applicable safety standards.
- Support machinery compliance, including CE Marking and UK Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations.
- Assist in validating safety systems, guarding, emergency stops and other safety functions during commissioning.
- Identify and report technical or safety issues, supporting corrective actions where required.
- Complete commissioning records, installation reports and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety procedures and industry standards at all times.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Support continuous improvement and undertake any other reasonable duties required by the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:

A degree in Engineering or equivalent practical engineering experience.
- At least five years' experience delivering turnkey engineering or machinery projects.
- Practical experience of machinery installation and commissioning.
- Previous experience working with bespoke machinery, automated systems or OEM equipment.
- A strong understanding of engineering principles and project delivery.
- The ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and process drawings.
- Knowledge of machinery safety, CE Marking and engineering compliance.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Polish (essential).
- A full UK driving licence.
- A willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe, including overnight stays where required.
