Job Overview
We need experienced, skilled joiners, with their own tools for 2nd fix of a high quality fit-out of an office project, in central Nottingham.
Duties
- Install internal fixtures such as doors, skirting boards, architraves, and cabinetry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fixing materials
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of custom joinery pieces on-site or in workshops
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely to ensure smooth workflow
- Support roofing tasks when required, including installing fascia boards or soffits
- Proven experience as a Second Fix Joiner or similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly processes, and joinery techniques
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders
- Basic understanding of roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Relevant certifications or training in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not mandatory
