Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and ordering processes at the counter
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing transactions and giving correct change
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant serving or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
