Are you an experienced HGV driver who enjoys working hands-on with machinery and delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team, delivering and installing excavator attachments at customer sites while supporting our busy workshop operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where no two days are the same. You'll work with a variety of plant equipment, interact with customers, and play a key role in ensuring attachments are delivered, fitted, and operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excavator attachments safely and professionally to customer sites.
- Install plant attachments and connect hydraulic quick couplings.
- Fit attachments to machines with operator assistance.
- Carry out testing of attachments, including checking flow and pressure settings.
- Provide support within the depot workshop as required.
- Maintain delivery vehicles to a clean and professional standard.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and best practices at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company positively on site.
About You
We're looking for someone who is practical, safety-conscious, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
Essential:
- Valid HGV driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative while contributing as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with plant machinery or excavator attachments.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) certification.
- Mechanical or hydraulic knowledge.
