The nursery is located on Garvin Avenue in Beaconsfield, just off the A355 and close to the M40 Junction. Beaconsfield train station is just a short walk away. The nursery is situated in a residential area and street parking is available on the road outside the nursery. As Nursery Assistant, you will:
-
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parents and visitors always
-
Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
-
Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources for children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.

Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt

Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
As a Nursery Assistant, you will need:

Fluent in written and spoken English - essential

Passion to work with children
