Here at Electricity Asset Services (EAS), we are currently seeking an established Civils Operative Team to join our family-run business. The position involves a 45-hour working week and working across the Central Belt of Scotland, including Fife and Lanarkshire, with works carried out on sites throughout Central Scotland.

EAS specialise in procurement, design, management and execution of all works associated with High and Low voltage underground electricity networks on behalf of major framework contractors and Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s).
We have over 40 years combined experience specific to our services offered such as HV/LV cable jointing and terminating, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, 24 hours emergency call out, project management and more. Our purpose is to positively contribute to the electrical industry- providing value to our clients, customer and our people.
Purpose
As part of the Civils Operative Team, your role is to support the successful delivery of projects by performing a variety of civil works in line with project specifications and industry standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
Overview of main duties and responsibilities
- Excavating and Moling on De-loping jobs
- Link box and substation replacement
- Operate plant and machinery (if trained and certified)
- Read and interpret design drawings
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE
- Complete work instructions and risk assessments accurately and on time
- Maintain company image
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and site team
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery
