Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. The Food Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage guest queries efficiently, providing excellent guest services to foster repeat business
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide appropriate change or receipts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
