Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages promptly
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout shifts
- Support colleagues in delivering seamless guest experiences during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety protocols
- Engage with guests courteously, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Culinary or restaurant experience that demonstrates familiarity with food presentation and service standards is beneficial
- Organised with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
