Overview
Peak Pizza Co. is a modern, independent restaurant serving quality pizza in the heart of the Peak District. Alongside it sits Vintners on the Brook — a wine and charcuterie bar focused on carefully sourced wines, quality produce, and attentive service.
Both operate under The Northern Collective, an established hospitality, retail and leisure group with venues across South Sheffield and the Peak District.
Although the concepts are different, the expectation is the same: professional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Whether it's a busy Friday evening in Peak Pizza Co. or a slower, more considered service at Vintners, we aim to deliver consistently high standards for every guest.
The Role
This is a varied front of house position working across both concepts.
You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, well-run service from the moment guests arrive until they leave. That means understanding how to read a room, adapting your approach to different service styles, and working confidently as part of a close-knit team.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working at pace, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and understands that consistency and attention to detail matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional and attentive service throughout every shift.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, confidently and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Build a strong knowledge of our menus, wines and products to confidently guide guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation across all front of house areas.
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Remain calm, organised and solution-focused during busy service periods.
- Adapt your style between a lively, fast-paced restaurant environment and a more refined wine bar experience.
- Contribute positively to the team and help maintain a supportive working environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in hospitality.
You'll be naturally organised, enjoy working with people, and understand that great service is built on consistency, communication and attention to detail.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous front of house experience in hospitality.
- A professional, positive and reliable approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests.
- The ability to remain calm and composed during busy services.
- Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to support the wider team.
- An interest in food, wine and hospitality, with a willingness to continue learning.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay + tips.
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
- Free meals while on shift.
- Northern Collective Team Rewards Card, including:
- 25% discount across all venues
- Early booking access for group events
- Wholesale pricing on wines, beers and spirits
- Real opportunities for career progression within a growing group
This is a role for someone who enjoys working in a professional hospitality environment where standards matter.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge across two distinct concepts, work alongside experienced colleagues, and be part of a business that values quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
If you're looking for a front of house role where you can build your skills, take ownership of your service, and contribute to a team that cares about doing things properly, we'd love to hear from you.
