Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using proper serving techniques
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the service area
- Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with guests and team members
- Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the establishment’s operating hours
- A professional appearance and courteous manner at all times

Pay: £12.71-£19.08 per hour
