The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator / Accounts & Business Support Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the business. This varied role will involve administration, bookkeeping, HR support, customer communications, and general business assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and accounts administration using Xero
- Processing invoices, purchase orders, and maintaining financial records
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to emails professionally and efficiently
- Providing general office administration and business support
- Maintaining company records, files, and documentation
- Assisting with HR administration, including onboarding documentation and employee records
- Supporting management and operational teams with administrative tasks
- Managing documents and records through SharePoint
- Updating and maintaining customer and business information within HubSpot
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Office 365
- Providing general assistance to directors and the wider team as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administration, accounts, office management, or business support role
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Experience using HubSpot CRM
- Experience supporting HR administration activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Bookkeeping experience and a good understanding of financial administration
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Desirable Skills
- Experience using the Re-flow field management software would be advantageous but is not essential, as training can be provided
- Experience within the highways, surfacing, construction, engineering, or contracting sectors would be beneficial
