Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff / to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with customers and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with our menu standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in line with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
