Benefits: Up to £55,000pa / £500 per month car allowance (£6,000) / Fuel Card / 22 + 8 days holiday
We have been delivering our services for over 35 years and currently employ over 100 engineers and 50 office staff across the country, from Birmingham down to the South Coast. We supply commercial mechanical, air conditioning and electrical services to Hotels, Restaurants and Bars, including Green King pubs, Premier Inns, Brewer Fayres and many more.
We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Surveyor to be based around Hampshire and the South Home Counties. You will play a key role in surveying existing and new air conditioning requirements, preparing accurate scopes of works and supporting the project development and bidding process.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, engineers, project management and suppliers to ensure projects are accurately surveyed, specified and costed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out site surveys for commercial air conditioning and HVAC projects.
- Assess existing systems and identify repair, replacement and installation requirements.
- Prepare detailed scopes of works for air conditioning projects.
- Determine labour, materials and equipment requirements.
- Produce accurate quotations and estimates based on site survey findings.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, ensuring clear communication.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify potential technical issues and provide practical solutions.
- Ensure surveys and quotations are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Maintain and update costs, pricing information and estimate templates.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- Previous experience within the air conditioning / HVAC industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
- Experience carrying out site surveys and producing scopes of works.
- Understanding of installation, maintenance and replacement requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating/surveying software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
