Dance Teacher To Join the CADA Team!
Claire Andrews Dance Academy (CADA) is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate dance teachers to join our growing team.
We are seeking teachers who love working with children and young people, can create a positive and encouraging learning environment, and are committed to helping every dancer reach their full potential.
About the Role
As a Dance Teacher at CADA, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging dance classes, developing students' technique and performance skills, and contributing to our exciting performances, events and showcases throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality dance classes for children and young people.
- Create a fun, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Inspire confidence, creativity and a love of dance in all students.
- Prepare students for performances, shows and community events.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional communication with parents and the CADA management team.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and academy policies.
- Represent CADA in a professional and positive manner at all times.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience teaching dance to children and young people.
- Is confident teaching one or more dance styles, including Ballet, Tap & Modern, Commercial, Street Dance, Acro, Jazz, Lyrical.
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Is enthusiastic, organised and dependable.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Holds an enhanced DBS certificate (or is willing to obtain one).
- Has relevant dance teaching qualifications and/or industry experience.
