Palmer Furniture is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Furniture Maker to join our team at our workshop in SW17, London.
We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-end bespoke fitted furniture and are looking for someone with a strong background in cabinet making and architectural joinery.
The role
You will be involved throughout the manufacturing process, taking projects from approved technical drawings through manufacture and assembly in our workshop, followed by installation on site.
Typical projects include bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, media units, fitted cabinetry and other high-end residential joinery.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced bench joiner, cabinet maker or furniture maker
- Can confidently read and work from technical drawings
- Has experience manufacturing high-end fitted furniture
- Can work accurately and independently to a high standard
- Has good knowledge of workshop machinery and joinery techniques
- Is confident working with MDF, veneered boards, laminates and solid timber
- Has experience installing fitted furniture on site
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in the quality of their work
- Holds a full UK driving licence
What we offer
- £20–£25 per hour depending on experience and ability
- Equivalent to approximately £41,600–£52,000 per annum
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

We're looking for someone who can become a strong long-term member of the Palmer Furniture team and who understands the level of finish and attention to detail required for high-end bespoke furniture.
