About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced, and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will be essential in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Wash cookware, utensils, and crockery efficiently using commercial dishwashers and manual sinks.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Ensure waste disposal, recycling, and storage areas are kept clean and organized.
- Receive and unpack stock deliveries, ensuring proper storage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Porter in a busy commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
