We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Roofing Contracts Manager to join our clients team based in the Worcester area!
Our client is a well-established, reputable and expanding company looking to appoint a contracts manager to manage a number of new key contracts due to onboard.
Our client operates in the commercial and industrial roofing sector, offering a full range of services from new builds to refurbishments and repairs.
We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a full time, permanent basis. Therefore, if successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be responsible for overseeing commercial and industrial roofing projects from contract award through to completion. The position combines strong project delivery, health & safety oversight, and high-level client liaison, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
You will act as a central point of coordination across multiple live contracts, supporting both operational teams and clients throughout the full contract lifecycle.
- Manage multiple industrial & commercial roofing projects from order through to completion
- Act as the main client contact, attending pre-start meetings and maintaining strong ongoing communication
- Oversee 5–6 live projects at any one time, ensuring safe, on-time and on-budget delivery
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, plant and site logistics across all live sites
- Monitor programme performance, manage risks, and drive progress across all projects
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS, site inspections and reporting
- Chair weekly internal progress meetings and produce client updates and reports
- Support project close-out, handover and final completion documentation
Hours
Monday–Friday, 9AM - 5PM.
Flexible working hours can be offered for the right candidate.
The role requires a mix of office and on-site working.
Pay
£75,000.00 - £100,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
A bonus scheme is also offered for contract performance and delivery targets.
Skills/Experience Required
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager within industrial & commercial roofing
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site compliance
- Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously (5–6 sites)
- Strong organisational and programme management skills
- Confident client-facing communication ability
- Full UK driving licence
- SMSTS (desirable) and additional H&S qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Driven and ambitious, with the desire to grow and achieve within a growing company
