Sales Progressor£22,400 - £24,000 | 4 Days Per Week | No Weekends
No weekends. No corporate pressure. A role where you're trusted to do things properly.
Hannells is Derby's top-selling, award-winning, family-run estate agency, and we're looking for a Sales Progressor to join our experienced and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with estate agency, conveyancing or property-related experience who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving, and takes pride in seeing property sales successfully through to completion.
With no weekend working, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to make a real difference to clients during the moving process, this is a role where your experience and professionalism will be genuinely valued.
The Role
Based at our busy Chaddesden branch on Nottingham Road, you'll take ownership of a pipeline of agreed sales, managing them from instruction through to exchange and completion.
You'll work closely with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage advisers and other agents to keep transactions moving, resolve issues before they become problems and ensure clients remain informed throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively progressing property sales and managing chains
- Liaising with solicitors, buyers, sellers, mortgage advisers and other agents
- Providing regular, clear updates to clients
- Chasing key milestones to achieve exchange and completion as efficiently as possible
- Identifying and resolving issues that could delay a transaction
- Delivering a professional, reassuring and proactive service throughout the moving journey
This is a busy and rewarding role where no two days are the same. It's ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and the satisfaction of seeing sales successfully reach completion.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with experience of the property transaction process who can quickly become a valuable part of the team.
This experience could come from estate agency, conveyancing or another property-related role.
You'll need:
- Previous experience within estate agency, conveyancing or a related property role (essential)
- A good understanding of the property sales and conveyancing process
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- The ability to prioritise effectively and stay calm under pressure
- A professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach
Why Join Hannells?
At Hannells, we've built our reputation by doing things differently.
Whilst many estate agencies have become increasingly corporate, we've remained a family-run business where people are trusted to do their jobs properly and supported when they need help.
When you join Hannells, you'll benefit from:
- No weekend working
- Four-day working week
- No internal competition
- No unnecessary KPIs or corporate bureaucracy
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
- An established and highly respected local brand
- Autonomy and trust to manage your workload professionally
- Genuine opportunities to make a difference to clients during one of the most important events of their lives
Most importantly, you'll be joining a business with a strong reputation, a loyal customer base and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
Working Hours
- Four days per week
- 8:45am start with a morning team meeting
- 5:30pm finish
- Working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate
- Some flexibility available for the right candidate
