At Toast & Timber, we’re all about great brunch, proper coffee and genuinely warm service.
We’re a busy independent brunch house in the heart of Abergavenny, and we’re looking for friendly, energetic Front of House Team Members to join our growing team.
This is a rota-based role with daytime shifts across Monday–Sunday, with weekend availability essential. Our opening hours are daytime only, so it’s a great hospitality role for someone who loves the buzz of a busy service but also enjoys a work-life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests and making sure they feel looked after from the moment they arrive
- Taking food and drink orders confidently and accurately
- Making and serving coffees and other drinks
- Running food and supporting smooth, efficient service
- Keeping the café clean, organised and looking its best
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider team
- Staying calm, positive and proactive during busy brunch services
- Helping us maintain the friendly, relaxed atmosphere Toast & Timber is known for
What We’re Looking For
- Weekend availability is essential
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred
- Friendly, confident and approachable
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who takes pride in giving brilliant customer service
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- An interest in coffee, food and hospitality is always a bonus
