Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Cleaning Manager to oversee the daily operations of our domestic cleaning services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining excellent client relationships. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff across multiple commercial sites
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet client requirements and health and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality control
- Provide training and ongoing support to janitorial staff to maintain high standards of service
- Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, work performance, and site inspections
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the cleaning sector
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective liaison with clients and staff
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to commercial cleaning operations
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently under pressure
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable for overseeing multiple locations effectively
