Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software applications.
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications by debugging issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features.
- Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful services to ensure smooth data exchange between systems.
- Manage version control using tools like GitHub and SVN to track changes and facilitate team collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and document technical solutions thoroughly.
- Support deployment processes on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure while ensuring security best practices are followed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
- Strong understanding of front-end development frameworks and technologies to create engaging user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server; familiarity with application development involving SQL queries.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and SVN for efficient code management.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems for development and deployment tasks.
- Ability to develop APIs using REST principles for seamless system integrations.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies including Agile practices.

Pay: £42,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
