We are seeking a passionate and experienced EDI & Engagement Team Leader to drive forward our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), while supporting and delivering high-impact engagement to meet the needs of our diverse communities.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to shape inclusive practices, amplify diverse voices, and ensure our services are responsive, accessible, fair and equitable for all.
You will lead a small team, work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, and build strong relationships with community groups, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the organisation’s EDI strategy and action plans
- Support the delivery of Tenant Voice Strategy
- Manage and support a team responsible for Customer Involvement
- Ensure the organisation meets statutory and best practice requirements in EDI
- Analyse data and feedback to identify inequalities and inform service improvements
- Champion EDI culture across the organisation through training, guidance, and advocacy
- Build strong partnerships with voluntary, community, and stakeholder groups
- Represent the organisation in forums, networks, and consultations
- Monitor performance and produce reports on EDI and engagement outcomes
