Part time 18.75hour contract
We are seeking a non-medical prescriber to work with the Team, who will focus on the assessment and treatment of adults with ADHD, including adults with complex presentations (mental and physical health comorbidity, perinatal, learning disability, autism, substance use, criminal justice, veterans, and marginalised, vulnerable groups).
Our aim is to support people from 18 years and upwards to improve their quality of life, by providing meaningful and quality-driven assessments and safe, thorough and optimised treatment for ADHD.
There are options for flexible / hybrid working.
We are looking for a registered nurse with an existing non-medical prescribing qualification, as initiating, titrating, and reviewing medication is a key element to the role.
Prior experience of working within an ADHD service is preferable, however we would consider transferrable skills such as working with people with ADHD or neurodivergence in alternate settings, or experience of community working.
Initiating, titrating, reviewing, and adjusting medicines in accordance with our formulary. Once training is completed and competence established, to complete ADHD assessments and diagnostic reviews. The role also includes providing supervision to Band 6 practitioners in the Team, as well as supporting daily ‘Duty’ work involving triaging referrals and responding to more urgent queries.
Our clinic bases are Great Yarmouth, Norwich City Centre and Kings Lynn, and the role may require working from other health-based locations.
