Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Empty all waste bins following recycling guidelines.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to maintain hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to keep facilities fully equipped.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to guarantee consistent quality across all areas.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures, COSHH requirements and report any hazards, maintenance issues, damages or concerns promptly.
- Provide holiday cover across company locations as required and undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated shifts.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers safely.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
