Include Me 2 Club is a fast-paced, growing charity that exists to ensure all children, young people and adults with an additional support need, disability or mental health condition are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. We work with a range of projects, partners and funders to ensure that our specialist services within the sector are strengthened, supported, member-led, evidence-informed and deliver high-quality outcomes. We are seeking a Team Leader on a part time basis to support the Adult Services Manager with the day to day running of the Buddy Up service, our community based mentoring and befriending service.
The Team Leader is responsible for managing the service’s administration (including rostering and invoicing) and its outreach support.
Key responsibilities
Service coordination and team leadership
- Manage a team of around 20 staff
- Carry out regular supervisions with staff members
- Support the Adult Services Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
- Supporting service users where needed
Administration, rostering and invoicing
- Manage staff rosters
- Produce invoices and maintain accurate records
- Carry out administration duties supporting the service
Community outreach and engagement
- Support and develop community outreach and engagement for the service
Safeguarding, safety and quality
- Uphold safeguarding, safety and quality across the service
Person specification
Essential
Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role and working with children, young people or adults with additional support needs, disabilities or mental health conditions
- Experience of coordinating staff, volunteers or a small team
- Experience of producing invoices, maintaining accurate records and working with finance
Skills and abilities
- Confident administrator, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload across multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills (in person, on the phone and in writing) with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
Knowledge
- Understanding of safeguarding principles for children and protected adults
- Awareness of Child and Adult Protection guidelines, evaluation techniques and relevant legislation
- Awareness of the needs of young adults and people with varied additional support needs and disabilities
Personal qualities
- Patient, tolerant and able to work as part of a team
- Organised and efficient, with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn, research and adapt

- Full UK driving licence, access to your own car and insurance for business use
- Eligible for PVG Scheme membership for both children and protected adults
- Weekend availability and a flexible approach to working hours
