Great people recruit great people
At Eco Brite, we believe the right attitude matters just as much as experience.
We’re a commercial cleaning company with a growing team of around 60 people—and we’re looking for a warm, organised and quietly confident Recruitment & People Co-ordinator to help us find brilliant new team members and give them the best possible start.
This isn’t a corporate HR role filled with jargon and paperwork. It’s a hands-on people role for someone who enjoys meeting others, can spot potential and is also prepared to ask the important questions.
Most importantly, you’ll help us recruit people who genuinely live our three core values:
Do What You Say
Reliability matters in our business. You’ll communicate clearly with applicants, keep interviews and reviews moving, follow up when promised and make sure nobody gets lost in the recruitment process.
Work Hard
You’ll look beyond a friendly interview and consider whether someone has the attitude, resilience and work ethic needed to succeed. Recruitment isn’t simply about filling vacancies—it’s about finding people who will do a great job and stay.
Treat Others Well
Every applicant should leave with a positive impression of Eco Brite, whether or not they are successful. You’ll make people feel welcome, treat them fairly and help new starters feel supported throughout their first 90 days.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of the journey from applicant to established team member, including:
- Hosting friendly and engaging group interviews
- Conducting structured one-to-one interviews
- Assessing applicants objectively against our values and role requirements
- Arranging working interviews with our experienced cleaning mentors
- Gathering and considering mentor feedback
- Keeping in touch with applicants throughout the process
- Coordinating job offers, pre-employment checks and onboarding
- Helping new starters get set up and ready for their first shift
- Scheduling and conducting 30, 60 and 90-day reviews
- Gathering feedback from new employees, mentors and clients
- Identifying any early concerns and making sure they are addressed
- Keeping recruitment records accurate and up to date
- Working closely with our office, scheduling and customer happiness teams
You could be just who we’re looking for if you…
- Genuinely enjoy talking to people and putting them at ease
- Are friendly and approachable, but not afraid to make an objective decision
- Can recognise the difference between a likeable applicant and the right applicant
- Are organised, dependable and good at following things through
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Can handle sensitive conversations with kindness and confidence
- Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your role
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and fairness
- Enjoy improving processes and spotting where someone may need a little extra support
Previous recruitment, HR, onboarding or people-management experience would be helpful, but we’re equally interested in someone with strong transferable skills and the right values.
Experience in the cleaning industry isn’t essential. We can teach you about our business—but we can’t teach you to care about people or to do what you say you’ll do.
What we can offer
- A genuinely varied, people-focused role
- Part-time hours with some flexibility
- The opportunity to shape and improve our recruitment journey
- Support from a friendly, experienced team
- A business that values good ideas, honest conversations and doing the right thing
- The satisfaction of helping great people find a role in which they can thrive
