We’re looking for a Night Porter (or Guest Services Assistant Nights) to join the team at ibis Styles Birmingham NEC & Airport.

This is a full-time, 40‑hour‑per‑week role with a salary of £26,500, plus a range of benefits you’ll genuinely appreciate.
About the role
Your world will be the night shift, keeping the hotel running smoothly while most people are sleeping. You’ll welcome late arrivals, handle last‑minute reservations, support early departures, and ensure guests feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the night.
You’ll often be the first person guests meet, so a friendly, professional, and confident approach is key. When something needs attention, you’ll be the person guests rely on to keep things calm and running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
Your night will be varied, with tasks such as:
- Bar service and cash handling
- Organising reports
- Preparing breakfast
- Managing reservations
- Supporting the housekeeping and maintenance teams
What you bring
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming attitude
- Experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial
- Being comfortable working nights is a plus
- An SIA licence is beneficial
