Groundworker – Spalding
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Groundworker for a drainage and civils project based in Spalding, starting 1st September 2026.
The role will involve general drainage and groundworks on a civils and infrastructure project. We are looking for candidates with proven drainage experience who hold the required tickets to work safely and effectively on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Drainage installation and repair works
- Excavation and trench preparation
- Laying pipes and associated drainage infrastructure
- Backfilling, compacting and reinstatement works
- Working safely around existing utilities and services
- General groundworks and civils duties as required
- Assisting with lifting operations where required
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- CPCS or NPORS Dumper & Roller tickets (NPORS must have CSCS logo)
- Valid Slinger/Signaller ticket
- Valid Banksman ticket
- Proven experience working on drainage, civils or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions
