Overview: We are a care and support agency who offer supportive living for individuals with learning disability, mental health and autism.
We are seeking a creative, proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team. As an administrative assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow within the office. This is a full time position Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain and update company databases and records
- Assist in managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Assist with organizing company events and meetings
- Handle office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in computerised systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Capable of working under pressure and producing quality work
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic clerical procedures and office management practices
