Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic YO! Sushi kiosk team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and preparation. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- As a Team Member you will be a strong team player, enthusiastic and willing to support your team and deliver top quality sushi to our customers
- You’ll be assisting your Manager in the daily running of the kiosk, performing ad hoc duties and tasks where required
- You’ll be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards in a fast paced environment
- You’ll be ensuring daily records of delivery, wastage, and temperature checks are completed and recorded accurately
- You’ll be engaging with our customers throughout the day. Your fantastic menu knowledge will encourage sales as you sample and inform them about our menu, ensuring they always leave happy with both the quality of our sushi and our customer service
- You will have excellent awareness of our allergens procedure and will ensure that customers are always given the correct information
- You ensure the highest possible quality in food and service standards
- You will maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times following all cleaning procedures
- You will follow all our policies and procedures, advocating a safe working environment for all Key Behaviours
- You will have the passion and enthusiasm to learn the art of sushi and engage your customers to love it as much as we do
- You must have a keen eye for standards and always strive to deliver the best quality food service and standards across the board
- You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude
- You will be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed
- You will be reliable and always turn up to your shift on time, and be visible on the kiosk at the time your shift starts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to the work environment.
- A proactive attitude towards helping customers and colleagues alike.
