At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV 2 Driver to work with a leading catering and logistics company in London. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to key clients, including LNER (King's Cross), Heathrow, and Gatwick, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Shift Patterns

Working any 5 days out of 7, with AM and PM shifts.

Flexibility to work both shifts is required, according to the rota.
Pay Rates
Essential Requirements for HGV 2 Driver

Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence

Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card

Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience

No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence

Able to provide a 5-year employment history and pass a DBS check

Willing to complete the CO (Cargo Operative) Course (training and assistance provided)

Must have the right to work in the UK (applicants on a Student Visa are not eligible)
Desirable Requirements for HGV 2 Driver

Previous experience working in an airport, transport, or logistics environment

Experience with heavy manual handling and physically demanding tasks

Good knowledge of Gatwick Airport and the surrounding road network

Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules

A proactive and reliable approach, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

Safely transport goods to various high-profile locations including airports and rail hubs

Perform heavy manual handling tasks as part of the delivery process

Maintain accurate delivery schedules and professional communication with clients

Ensure all vehicle safety checks are completed before and after shifts
