Key Responsibilities
· Actively pursue full return of principal and interest
· Navigating loans in arrears, breaches of loan covenants and the receivership process
· Communicating with stakeholders involved including borrowers, brokers, guarantors, funders, receivers, solicitors, auctioneers and estate agents via phone, email and/or letters.
· Main point of contact liaising with external solicitors
· Member of Credit Committee
· Ensuring loans are compliant with contractual terms
· Assist with collection of payments
· Tracking loan performance and escalating early warning signs to management
· Assisting borrowers with redemption strategy
· Ensure adherence with compliance and credit policies
· Enhancement of recoveries processes
· Minimising costs and maximising return to the Company
· Issuing formal demand for payments, preparing letters of variation and calculating redemption statements
· Monitoring and reporting of individual and companywide key performance indicators (KPIs)
· Dealing with responses to complaints and litigation
· Suggesting favourable loan restructuring ideas to reduce risk
· Preparing regular loan updates for funders
· Maintain accurate records in Excel and CRM system
· Ensuring accurate borrower and redemption statements
Requirements
· Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) within real estate litigation, finance litigation or restructuring/insolvency background.
· Experience with appointing LPA receivers, mortgagee in possession actions, bankruptcy and winding up petitions and personal guarantee enforcement.
· Working knowledge of property law, renters right act and drafting settlement agreements
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel (including formulae), Outlook and Word
Employment Type
· Full-time, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
· Office-based (central London) 1-2 days work from home
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
