Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating aluminium components and structures with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Perform TIG welding on aluminium materials, ensuring strong and clean welds that meet specified standards
- Fabricate aluminium components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication processes
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other aluminium parts using appropriate techniques
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate assembly and fitting of components
- Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in the setup and calibration of welding equipment as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding, specifically aluminium welding, with demonstrated experience in similar roles
- Knowledge of various welding techniques and the ability to adapt based on project requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in aluminium work
- Strong understanding of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials during fabrication processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs
