Role: Team Member BOH/FOH

Job Purpose:
The York Roast Co is looking for multiple Team Members to join our York Team!
Established in 2004, The York Roast Co is a successful Family business known for its passionate and innovative nature within the hospitality industry. Currently, there are plans to re-develop our stores & dark kitchen so we can continue to grow.

As Team Member, you are responsible for serving our amazing customers. Your duties include welcoming customers, answering questions related to the menu, producing and delivering orders and processing payments. Preparing amazing food for our customers. Cooking meals following the restaurant specs. You are also responsible for following and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Ultimately, you’ll ensure an amazing experience for our guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Greeting customers as they walk in and introducing them to the menus
- Taking the customers’ orders and prepare them
- Confirming that the food items match the orders and delivering them to the customers
- Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
- Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment
- Inquiring if the customers are satisfied
- Make sure the restaurant is always clean
- Following health and safety procedures
- Following food hygiene practices
- Working with line management to meet revenue objectives

Pay: £8.50-£13.21 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 45.0 per week
