One Stop Scouting are primarily a web-based company, with a retail shop supplying School uniform to local schools. We specialise in supplying embroidered and printed garments to Scout and Guide groups, as well as workwear and clothing for teams & clubs.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team player to join our small but busy offices, based just outside the City Centre of Chelmsford.
This role is permanent part time role, working for 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 3pm daily, with an unpaid 30 minute break.
Salary from FTE £26,325 - Pro Rata £17,550
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Excellent customer service skills and a good telephone manner
- Good keyboard skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office/365
- Be able to work as part of a team
Key aspects of the role will include:
- Taking telephone calls to assist with customers' orders/enquires
- Responding to customers emails
- Creating and sending invoices
- Putting together quotations for customers
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Checking orders before they are dispatched
- Processing of payments over the phone
- Dealing with accounts queries
- Processing items for post and deliveries
- General office admin and filing
- Maintaining a clean and tidy office
- Assisting other departments if and when required
No previous knowledge of Scouting & Guiding, workwear etc, or embroidery and print is required, all training will be provided.
It would be beneficial to have had some general office and customer service experience.
We offer 20 days holiday and all bank holidays per year.
