Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Part 2/Advanced Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, erecting, inspecting, and dismantling complex scaffolding structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient access for workers and materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle advanced scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards
- Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding to identify potential hazards and ensure structural integrity throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate scaffolding needs and ensure seamless workflow
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding components accurately and efficiently
- Implement safety protocols at all times, including securing work areas, inspecting equipment, and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with other construction tasks such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or painting as needed to support project completion
- Maintain detailed records of scaffolding setups, inspections, modifications, and dismantling procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Part 2 or advanced scaffolder with a strong understanding of complex scaffolding systems. In date cisrs card
- Demonstrated knowledge of carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical systems, fabrication techniques, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints for scaffolding layouts and structural plans
- Strong commitment to safety practices with relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS card or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse trades
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Additional skills such as welding or electrical experience are advantageous but not mandatory
