In your role as CDP, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in the following tasks:
- Food production for service
- Daily compliance checks
- Organisation and cleaning of the kitchen
- Preparing daily staff meals
- Delivering dishes to a high standard during service
- Expected to be available for late night and weekends.
Skills and experience that we are looking for are as follows
- Excellent time keeping
- Practical kitchen skills i.e. able to demonstrate knowledge and experience using tools such as kitchen knives and machinery
- Good food knowledge and a desire to give your best to every dish
- Good communication skills when liaising with staff members as well as customers and external contractors
- A keen eye for organisation and cleanliness
- At least 2 years’ experience within a fast paced, professional kitchen
The right candidate will have 2 years experience of being a CDP before.
