Job Purpose
The role supports the store’s commercial performance by monitoring sales patterns, stock
movement, and day‑to‑day store activity to guide operational and merchandising decisions. It
strengthens competitiveness through regular competitor tracking, customer research, and
feedback collection to refine pricing, displays, and the overall shopping experience. It
contributes to planning and delivering in‑store promotions, loyalty initiatives, visual
merchandising, and community‑based marketing initiatives to increase visibility and footfall. It
also helps maintain smooth store operations by assisting with customer issue resolution,
supporting policy implementation and store operation.

Store Performance Support

Monitor monthly, weekly, daily sales reports to track
product performance
Collate and analyse sales data covering
store catalogue
Identify fast-moving and slow-selling stock and provide
recommendations to the Store Manager
Analyse retail store sales data to identify
period, seasonal, cyclical trends in terms of
volume and value.
Assist in forecasting Category/SKU demand Based on past trends, prepare procurement
data for senior management.
Prepare performance reports
(sale/return/damage/loss/theft/expiry) to facilitate
management in making commercial decisions

Market Insight & Research

Maintain a dynamic list of key competitors to monitor
competitor activity, including catalogue composition, price,

maintain competitiveness
Assist in setting retail price ceilings/floors
aligned with company's margin optimisation
strategy and competitor benchmarks
Assist in developing store
merchandising/display/promotion plan in line with store
brand policy
Collaborate with marketing resources and
based on competitor activities, help develop
displays, posters, leaflets, digital display
assets, and store aisle signage
Periodically conduct store customer research to identify
noteworthy buyer traits and expectations to assist senior
management in improving customer experience
Prepare surveys, identify customer traits,
conduct customer interviews, collate data
and present senior management with
findings
Collect feedback from customers regarding product
preferences and satisfaction.
Create and deploy methods to obtain
customer feedback
Promotions & Marketing Support

Assist in planning and coordinating in-store promotions
and seasonal campaigns
Assist senior management in designing
seasonal promotional campaigns
Support implementation of customer loyalty programs and
engagement activities
Assist loyalty program owner (manager) with
direct implementation in store by ensuring
proper communication display and customer
education as required
Contribute towards creating visual merchandising for in-
store display to promote brands, products, discounts, and
provide content to digital marketing team (covering website
and social media)
Based on planned in-store campaigns, work
with marketing/digital teams to design
artefacts for store deployment and inform
digital marketing team of on-going store
promotions to assist them in designing digital
content
Increase target market engagement to increase store
traffic from footfall areas
Operate food stalls in area markets,
participate in community events to promote
store, and assist digital marketing team to
create related content for digital publishing
Customer Service & Administrative Support

Engage with customers in problem/complaint resolution Manage cases on a daily basis.

Skills & Experience Required
● Previous experience in retail, store operations, or sales support
● Strong in customer service and product focus with knowledge of halal products.
● Basic understanding of sales reporting, stock performance, and product promotion
● Trained in public relations with strong observational skills and attention to detail
● Strong written and verbal communication skills in English/Urdu/Hindi/Pushto.
● Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
