About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Blind Fitter to join our growing team based in Paisley. This is a full-time position involving the manufacture and installation of made-to-measure blinds for both residential and commercial customers.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Alongside fitting blinds, you'll also be expected to help with the day-to-day running of our workshop. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, takes pride in their work, and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble made-to-measure blinds in the workshop.
- Install a variety of blinds to a high standard.
- Carry out accurate measuring and fitting.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers' homes and businesses.
- Assist with general workshop duties, including keeping the workspace clean and organised. Help with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Assist with stock organisation and maintaining a tidy, efficient workshop. Keep the company vehicle and tools clean and well maintained.
- Work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Previous experience fitting blinds is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. Practical DIY or installation experience is an advantage.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual.
- Willing to help with all aspects of the business, no matter how big or small. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
