Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the successful delivery of complex projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, exceptional time management abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and Civil 3D. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate resources, and ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and other relevant teams to align project activities with overall objectives.
- Utilise Civil 3D for planning and design coordination, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee resource allocation, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary to mitigate delays or issues.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, changes, and decisions for reporting and audit purposes.
- Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies proactively to minimise project disruptions.
- Support the training and mentoring of junior team members to foster professional development within the department.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for design coordination and spatial analysis.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in risk management and problem-solving within a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
