Home Care Support Workers provide person centred support in people's own homes based on individual needs. They work in line with our policies and procedures which at all promote privacy, dignity and independence of those we support and their carers. The Home Care Support Worker will also work across similar services as required.
Duties:
Home Care Support Workers establish person centred, trusted based, professional relationships with people, giving them practical and emotional support. This can include bathing/showering and assistance using the toilet and continence.

Hours of work:
Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed. Full or varied part time hours are available subject to agreement. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The post includes working a regular fortnightly working pattern and includes alternate weekends
Rate of pay:
£13.45 per hour plus paid travelling time at £13.45 per hour plus 45p per mile plus enhancements for bank holiday and weekend working.
Annual leave entitlement:
5.6 weeks per annum to include bank holiday Full Time Equivalent (FTE)
