OCVS is an independent HGV and Commercial vehicle garages based in Trafford Park Manchester. Due to continued success winning new blue chip contract clients, we are looking for a Van Technician to join our friendly Team at our state of the art unit. OCVS carry out the following services; HGV Fitting, HGV Repairs, Scheduled Servicing of fleet vehicles, Van and Lite commercial repairs and servicing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.
- Other duties will include diagnostic work, preparation for MOT’s, running repairs, roadside breakdown and recovery, welding, completion of paperwork and accurate maintenance of records.
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Working with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for customers
Key Competencies:

- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Effective verbal and written skills coupled with strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- HGV C / C+E an advantage
- Strong working ethic and the ability to work within a team
- You will thrive in a driven and fast paced environment
Additional Details:
· Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.00pm (depending on business needs)
