Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cold Lay Reinstator to join our team, responsible for restoring and maintaining private and public surfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of all types of cold lay reinstatement. This role offers an opportunity to work on vital infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met across various sites.
Duties
- Execute cold lay reinstatement procedures to repair mainly utility excavation works
- Operate and maintain specialised equipment used in cold lay applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Lead small teams during reinstatement projects, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules and ensure project deadlines are met, whilst maintaining a good standard of reinstatement.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise or guide team members effectively.
- Ability to use handheld devises such as mobile phone/tablets
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks in outdoor environments, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
