About the Role
Creative Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving Science faculty in secondary school in Southampton. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Science, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3/KS4).
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of inspiring schemes of work and department resources.
- Participate in extracurricular science activities, clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement within the department.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach all disciplines at KS3 and at least one specialism at KS4.
- A passion for teaching and motivating young people.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
