Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or promotions.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready.
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling, serving alcohol responsibly, and maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a food service or hospitality setting is preferred, especially within fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or retail math will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol serving regulations, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills combined with a positive attitude to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
