We are a friendly, family-run NHS dental practice looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Trainee / Apprentice Dental Nurse.
This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn — no previous experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a close-knit team providing high-quality NHS dental care to our local community.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will gain hands-on experience in all areas of dentistry — from assisting the dentist during treatments to helping patients feel at ease.
We will enrol you onto an approved Dental Nursing qualification course, and your training will be fully supported and funded by the practice.
Main Duties
- Assisting the dentist and hygienist during patient treatments
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas and instruments
- Supporting patients and ensuring a comfortable experience
- Following infection control and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
What We’re Looking For
- A caring and professional attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a willingness to learn
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are preferred
- Eligibility to work and study in the UK
