Clarke Transport is recruiting a professional Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team at the Bridgend depot, operating an internal trunk service to our Network Depots including Tipton (HUB) Direct or one of our network depots
THE ROLE
19:00 Start (may vary to cover holiday or sickness 17:30 – 20:00)
- Trunk to our National Hub in Birmingham or to one of our network depots
- Return to the Home Depot in Bridgend
Role Details
- Class 1 Night Trunk Driver
- £19.38 per hour
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends
- Internal trunk operation—no multi-drop deliveries
- ADR qualification preferred, although full ADR training will be provided where required
- Based at our Bridgend depot

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a professional and team-focused driver who:
- Holds a valid Category C+E driving licence
- Holds a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Holds a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Works safely and professionally
- Understands drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive requirements
- Takes pride in their vehicle and standard of work
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable working nights
- Values consistency, respect and fair treatment
- Wants to become a long-term member of a supportive team
