Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of works while meeting client expectations and supporting the successful execution of projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, SHEQ Team, and Programme Delivery Team, the individual reviews and signs off RAMS, FYLD assessments, and other safe systems of work, while promoting best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and projects.
A key responsibility is the effective management of resources, including plant, materials, subcontractors, and workforce allocation. This includes verifying team competence through training and certification checks, ensuring compliance with MGroup Water Job Packs and Team Packs, carrying out site audits, PPE inspections, hazard reporting, and maintaining environmental, permit, and NRSWA standards, including signing, lighting, and guarding requirements.
You'll also oversees customer service and operational performance by managing complaints, queries, and escalations within agreed timescales. Responsibilities include maintaining water quality standards, ensuring accurate project data collection and validation, monitoring SLA performance through jeopardy management, escalating issues where necessary, liaising with contractors and highway authorities, and ensuring allocation sheets and project documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
