Class 1 (C+E) HGV Tramper Driver

About the Role
Mayglothling Waste Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to join our growing transport team.
This is a Monday to Friday tramping role, operating modern articulated vehicles across the UK. You will be responsible for delivering a professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles throughout the UK.
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting.
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported safely.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
- Comply with all Driver CPC, Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when collecting from and delivering to customer sites.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times.
- Work closely with the transport office to ensure efficient planning and communication.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 3 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible and safety conscious.
Desirable
- Experience operating walking floor, tanker or tipper trailers.
- Previous tramping experience.
